KAUFMAN, Texas — A man was severely injured in a knife fight in Kaufman on Saturday night and flown to a Dallas-area hospital, according to police.
KAUFMAN, Texas — A man was severely injured in a knife fight in Kaufman on Saturday night and flown to a Dallas-area hospital, according to police.
At approximately 6:15 p.m., the Kaufman Police Department responded to the 1000 block of East First North Street in reference to the stabbing, Kaufman Police Department Captain Ed Black told inForney.com.
“Upon arrival Officers learns that a fight had taken place between two subjects and both subjects had used knives as weapons,” stated Black.
One of the subjects in the fight, a 48-year-old male, had been stabbed in the face. The man went to Kaufman Presbyterian Hospital and was later flown by CareFlite medical helicopter to a Dallas-area hospital with what Black described as severe injuries.
The other subject in the fight, a 58-year-old male, only suffered minor cuts.
“The investigation into the exact circumstances of what took place is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time,” stated Black.
