TERRELL, Texas โ A man was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital after being stabbed early Friday morning. His girlfriend was arrested for allegedly stabbing him.
At approximately 12:27 a.m., the Terrell Police Department, Terrell Fire Department, and CareFlite responded to the 1200 block of South Catherine Street in reference to a stabbing.
48-year-old Lucius Jeremiah King was located with a stab wound to his left shoulder, according to Terrell Police Department Corporal Zachary Boyd. King was transported by CareFlite ambulance to the Terrell Municipal Airport where he was further transported by medical helicopter to a Dallas-area hospital.
41-year-old Demetric Rocshell Stephenson, Kingโs girlfriend, was arrested for aggravated assault against a date, family, or household member with a deadly weapon, a first-degree felony.
Stephenson was cooperative with police and transported to the Terrell Police Department jail.
King is reportedly in stable condition, according to police.
