KAUFMAN, Texas — UPDATE [Nov. 29] — The Kaufman Police Department has announced an arrest in the Halloween night aggravated robbery of Triple AAA Food Store.

Arrested was 26-year-old Tremaine Rivers of Kaufman, Texas. He was booked into the Kaufman County Jail for aggravated robbery and is being held on a $100,000 bond. He is also being held on a $5,000 bond on a charge for possession of marijuana.

ORIGINAL [Nov. 1] — The Kaufman Police Department is seeking information in an aggravated robbery of a convenience store on Halloween night.

The aggravated robbery occurred last night, at 10:15 p.m., at the Triple AAA Food Store located at 1002 Mulberry Street, according to the Kaufman Police Department.

"A tall male suspect wearing dark clothing entered the store and displayed a gun before leaving with cash and running towards Paul Murrey Ford on foot," stated the department.

Police are reviewing surveillance footage from the convenience store during the robbery and released images Wednesday afternoon. Police say the suspect was carrying an orange "Nike" bag.
