FORNEY, Texas — A Forney man arrested on a child support warrant last week was also found in possession of methamphetamine, according to the Kaufman County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office.
37-year-old Jason Baker was arrested early Friday morning at his Forney home on a criminal non-support warrant and is being held at the Kaufman County Jail on no bond, according to Constable Jason Johnson.
At the time of his arrest, officers with the constable’s office discovered an amount of methamphetamine in one of Baker’s pockets. It was later weighed at 5.3 grams, according to Johnson.
For the methamphetamine, Baker was charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 greater than or equal to four grams and less than 200 grams with a $75,000 bond.
