SEAGOVILLE, Texas — A Garland, Texas, man has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of a Seagoville woman several days ago.
Garland Police Department Public Information Officer Lieutenant Pedro Barineau says 62-year-old Nancy Nolan of Seagoville, Texas, was living at a home in Garland, Texas, with two other males at the time of her death.
On Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Garland Police Department responded to a home in the 900 block of Meadowdale Circle in response to a deceased female.
“Responding officers arrived and were met by a male subject outside the home who stated he had killed the woman inside,” stated Barineau. That man, who also lived at the residence with Nolan, was identified as 60-year-old Ryan Howell.
Investigators believe Nolan was stabbed to death by Howell on Sunday, September 11, 2016.
Police are continuing to investigate whether the second male resident is involved in the murder. Howell, meanwhile, has been charged with murder.
