MESQUITE, Texas — UPDATE [Oct. 24] — Mesquite police say they have arrested the wife of an assistant principal who was arrested last week on charges for sexual assault of a child.
The wife, 36-year-old Brandy Langle, was arrested yesterday and charged with endangering a child, a second-degree felony. The charge is related to the case against her husband, James Langle, according to police.
She is being held on a $25,000 bond.
ORIGINAL [Oct.20] — Mesquite Independent School District assistant principal has been arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child, according to the Mesquite Police Department.
Police say the alleged offense did not occur on school property and involved a family member.
Yesterday, 37-year-old James Langle was arrested for sexual assault of a child. Langle is the assistant principal at Vanston Middle School, according to police.
