MESQUITE, Texas — Yesterday, the Mesquite Police Department’s Auto Theft Unit arrested a 35-year-old Dallas man and recovered six stolen vehicles following what police say is an ongoing and intense investigation.
MESQUITE, Texas — Yesterday, the Mesquite Police Department’s Auto Theft Unit arrested a 35-year-old Dallas man and recovered six stolen vehicles following what police say is an ongoing and intense investigation.
The Mesquite Police Department’s Auto Theft Unit began investigating auto thefts occurring in Mesquite, Texas, which led investigators to Dallas Auto Salvage located at 14057 Skyfrost Drive in Dallas, Texas, Mesquite Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Jospeh Thompson stated in a Friday press release.
Thompson says six vehicles, which were stolen in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, were recovered from Dallas Auto Salvage.
35-year-old Jose Rojas of Dallas, Texas, was arrested in conjunction with the investigation. Rojas is being charged with a class A misdemeanor theft, stated Thompson.
Thompson says the investigation remains ongoing by the Auto Theft Unit.
