FORNEY, Texas — A pursuit from Mesquite, Texas, into Forney ended in two arrests, Mesquite police confirm to inForney.com.
Wednesday evening, the Mesquite Police Department was dispatched to the Dick Sporting Goods, located at 2063 Town East Mall, in reference to a theft.
There, police say Dicks Sporting Goods reported coolers were being stolen from the location.
Mesquite Police Department officers quickly responded and located the alleged suspect vehicle and a pursuit ensued.
The chase traveled eastbound on U.S. Highway 80, into Kaufman County, and ended just east of the Forney city limits.
According to the Mesquite Police Department, the vehicle stopped on its own and the two occupants surrendered without further incident.
