MESQUITE, Texas (Mesquite Police Department) — On Tuesday October 20th, at about 7:45am, in the area of Briar Crossing and Cedarbriar, an 11-year-old girl reported that she was approached by a stranger.
MESQUITE, Texas (Mesquite Police Department) — On Tuesday October 20th, at about 7:45am, in the area of Briar Crossing and Cedarbriar, an 11-year-old girl reported that she was approached by a stranger.
The girl was waiting for her school bus when the man stopped his car. The man told the girl to get in the car, after which he exited his vehicle and walked toward the girl. An unidentified woman who was driving by noticed the situation and yelled to the man to get away from the girl or she would call the police. The man then entered his vehicle and drove away. The girl was unharmed.
The stranger is described as a Hispanic male, about 6 foot tall, skinny build, curly or wavy black hair and wearing a gray sweatshirt. The vehicle was a small white car, possibly a two door with tinted windows.
