KAUFMAN, Texas — A traffic stop on Sunday in Kaufman yielded one arrest and the seizure of marijuana, cocaine, and approximately $20,000.
On Sunday, June 25, 2017, Kaufman Police Department Police Officer Wagner conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of South State Highway 34.
“During the traffic stop Officer Wagner discovered Cocaine and Marijuana and $19,500.00 in cash,” the Kaufman Police Department stated.
Arrested was 22-year-old Cesar Tapia-Sanchez.
Tapia-Sanchez was charged with possession of marijuana less than two ounces and possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 less than one gram.
Police say the $19,500 in cash was seized and further charges are pending as the investigation remains ongoing.
