One killed in double shooting in Seagoville, police continue to search

SEAGOVILLE, Texas β€” The Seagoville Police Department is searching for a man involved in a double shooting earlier today at the Texas Shade Mobile Home Park which left one person dead.

SEAGOVILLE, Texas β€” The Seagoville Police Department is searching for a man involved in a double shooting earlier today at the Texas Shade Mobile Home Park which left one person dead.

The man shot two individuals, according to Seagoville Police Department Chief Pat Stallings. Police believe the shooting was the result of some sort of disturbance at the home between the man and several residents. The two shooting victims were transported to Dallas area hospitals where 46-year-old Steven Paul Cobb of Mesquite, Texas, was later pronounced deceased.

Police searched a wooded area between East Stark Road, Seagoville Road, and U.S. Highway 175 with assistance from the Dallas County Sheriff's Office, a Dallas Police Department K-9 unit, a Kaufman County K-9 unit, and other authorities on the ground. A Texas Department of Public Safety helicopter also aided in the search.

The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Logan Drumm, remains at large and is known to frequent Kaufman, Dallas, and Gun Barrel City, Texas. An arrest warrant was issued overnight for his arrest.

The second victim was listed in stable condition Monday morning.
