KAUFMAN, Texas — The Kaufman Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying a man who wore a Walmart vest during an alleged theft of several computers from Walmart in Kaufman, Texas.
Police say on Thursday, May 28, 2015, the unidentified man walked into Walmart wearing the Walmart employee vest with an empty shopping cart. He later exited the story with two shopping carts will with six computers with the security devices still attached.
The man, described as a black male with tattoos on his neck, loaded the computers into a black Ford Crown Victoria with dark tinted windows.
On Tuesday, June 30, 2015, police say the same man returned to Walmart in Kaufman and attempted to steal two more computers. This time, however, he was confronted by employees and left the location in the same vehicle.
