KAUFMAN, Texas — The Kaufman County Crime Stoppers organization is offering an award up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man who allegedly entered Walmart in Kaufman, Texas, and stole a Samsung tablet.

KAUFMAN, Texas — The Kaufman County Crime Stoppers organization is offering an award up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man who allegedly entered Walmart in Kaufman, Texas, and stole a Samsung tablet.

The alleged theft occurred at the Walmart in Kaufman, Texas, on Friday, February 27, 2015, at approximately 9:24 p.m. The man walked to the electronics department and was captured on video surveillance removing a Samsung Tab S tablet from its display mounting brackets, according to police. The man also attempted to remove a Microsoft Surface 2 but was unsuccessful and heavily damaged the tablet.

Police say the man then left in a grey or silver, extended cab Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with aftermarket chrome wheels.
