Reward up to $10,000 offered for information in Henderson County homicide of teen girl and her father

CHANDLER, Texas β€” The Henderson County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $10,000 for information in a double homicide south of Chandler, Texas, last week.

CHANDLER, Texas β€” The Henderson County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $10,000 for information in a double homicide south of Chandler, Texas, last week.

On December 10, 2018, 17-year-old Beverly McBride was found deceased of a gunshot wound inside a residence in the 20000 block of Woodridge West. Her father, 47-year-old Gabriel McBride was also found suffering of a gunshot wound inside the residence. Gabriel was in and out of consciousness and flown to a Tyler-area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

The Henderson County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.

β€œCrime Stoppers has proven to be useful tool in these types of investigations, and I am hopeful that anyone with relevant information will step up and help put a murderer behind bars,” stated Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse.

The Texas Rangers are assisting the Henderson County Sheriff's Office and the Henderson County District Attorney's Office investigating the case.
