ROCKWALL, Texas — UPDATE [7:58 a.m.] — The Walmart location has been cleared and reopened after a possible bomb threat forced its closure on Saturday morning, according to the Rockwall Police Department.

ORIGINAL — The Walmart in Rockwall has been evacuated Saturday morning due to a possible bomb threat.

At approximately 7:07 a.m., the Rockwall Police Department responded to the Walmart location in the 700 block of Interstate 30 in reference to a note found by an employee.

The employee found "an anonymous note indicating there may be an explosive devise located inside the building," according to a statement from the Rockwall Police Department.

The building has been evacuated as investigators work to determine if a device is at the location and the validity of the threat, according to the department.
