A woman and her two children had just returned home in the 2700 block of Maci Court on Tuesday night from the State Fair of Texas when four male suspects almost immediately entered her home through the unlocked front door, according to the release.
At least two of the suspects were described as being armed with handguns.
According to the release, one of the suspects remained with the woman and her children while the other three “targeted and commenced to ransack a bedroom in the home.”
“The suspects obtained this victim’s handbag and an undisclosed amount of money from the home before fleeing the location,” states the release.
“Seagoville Police Investigators are in the process of obtaining and reviewing home surveillance video from inside this residence,” states the release. “No suspects have been identified at time of this release; however this investigation is in its infancy.”
