SEAGOVILLE, Texas — The Seagoville Police Department is seeking information on a suspicious person involved in a park encounter with a teenaged female on Thursday.

SEAGOVILLE, Texas — The Seagoville Police Department is seeking information on a suspicious person involved in a park encounter with a teenaged female on Thursday.

“After sunset on the evening of October 27, 2016, Seagoville Police responded to the report of a suspicious person in C.O. Bruce / Central Park,” according to Seagoville Police Department Captain Steve Davis in a press release. “A teenaged female reported being approached by a Hispanic Male while she was seated alone on a picnic table.”

“During a brief conversation with this person, the teenage girl became nervous and uncomfortable with the presence of this individual,” stated Davis. “As she got up from the picnic table, she reported this person did touch her on the leg and on her stomach.”

The person was no longer seen within the park after the female vacated the area and informed her parents, according to the release.

The man was described as a Hispanic male in his late 30s or early 40s with distinctive wrinkles on his face, a thin goatee, and was seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue basketball-style shorts. No vehicle was seen associated with this person, according to the release.

“This individual was said to have also spoken with a thick Hispanic accent,” stated the release.
