CRANDALL, Texas β A show goat stolen from the Crandall High School Ag Barn has been recovered and police say a 16-year-old female is in custody and charges are pending on additional suspects.
The Crandall Police Department resounded to the Crandall High School Ag Barn on Monday, February 13, 2017, at approximately noon for a report of a theft which had already occurred, according to Crandall Police Department Chief Dean Winters.
Winters says the show goat was taken without the owners consent.
Following a multi-agency investigation, Winters says the stolen goat was recovered and a 16-year-old female was arrested and charged with theft of livestock.
The juvenile was transported to the Dallas County Juvenile Detention Center and is pending a detention hearing.
Winters says the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges are pending for additional suspects.
