Terrell Police Department Captain A.D. Sansom says the Cash Store in Terrell, located at 1884 West Moore Avenue near Walmart, was robbed at approximately 11:23 a.m.
Sansom says the clerk reported two black males entered the store through the front door and demanded cash from the teller at gunpoint. The two individuals fled out the back door β taking with them an undetermined amount of cash.
βThe armed subject was described as 5β06β 140 lbs., scraggily facial hair, and a white polo shirt with horizontal blue stripes, black hoodie and blue jeans,β stated Sansom. βThe second subject is described as 6β00β 180 lbs. having the lower half of his face partially covered, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes.β
The suspects are believed to have fled in a silver Jeep Cherokee.
βIt does appear that our robbery and Terrell P.D.βs robbery may have been committed by the same individuals,β Seagoville Police Department Chief Ray Calverly told inForney.com. In a Thursday release, Calverlay says the armed suspects entered through the front door, were inside for a brief moment, exited through the back, and fled in an awaiting vehicle.
Police believe. the two robberies are related to other Cash Store robberies in the metroplex
βOther offenses of the same method of operation related to the same company are currently being investigated in multiple jurisdictions,β stated Sansom. Investigators are working on reviewing surveillance video at both locations.
Calverly said the robberies are possible related to at least six other Cash Store robberies.
