TERRELL, Texas — Members of the Terrell-Forney SWAT Team and Terrell Police Department Narcotics Investigators executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in a drug free zone on Wednesday morning — netting two arrests and the seizure of cash and powder cocaine.
TERRELL, Texas — Members of the Terrell-Forney SWAT Team and Terrell Police Department Narcotics Investigators executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in a drug free zone on Wednesday morning — netting two arrests and the seizure of cash and powder cocaine.
On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at approximately 6:30 a.m., SWAT members deployed flash bangs before making entry into the residence at 306 Heath Street in Terrell, Texas.
Police immediately located a 56-year-old female, 23-year-old Erick Alcaraz-Rangel, and 23-year-old Melissa Alcaraz-Rangel.
"Powder cocaine along with drug paraphernalia and $534.00 were confiscated from the residence," stated the Terrell Police Department.
"306 Heath Street is located within 1000 feet of Terrell Independent School District property located at 700 N. Catherine," stated the department. "This residence is within a Drug Free Zone, which will enhance the penalty of the charges filed."
Erick Alcaraz-Rangel was arrested and charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance greater than or equal to four grams and less than 200 gram. He is being held at the Kaufman County Jail on a $200,000 bond. Melissa Alcaraz-Rangel was arrested on Terrell Police Department warrants.
