TERRELL, Texas — A Thursday night SWAT warrant execution yielded multiple arrests and the seizure of marijuana from a residence in Terrell.

On Thursday, August 16, 2018, at approximately 8 p.m, members of the Terrell-Forney Police Departments SWAT Team executed the narcotics search warrant at 504 Brin Street in Terrell, according to Terrell Police Department Captain A.D. Sansom.

Upon approach, Sansom says a man, later identified by police as 31-year-old Terrence Anthony Jones, left the residence and entered a maroon Mercury Grand Marquis. Jones was stopped in the 600 block of North Rockwall Avenue by marked patrol vehicles, arrested on outstanding Kaufman County Sheriff's Office warrants, and found to be in possession of a plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance.

As officers entered the property, another man, identified as Trini Belasco Jones Jr., was contacted on the front porch, found in possession of several marijuana roaches and drug paraphernalia, and arrested, stated Sansom.

Inside, police located 29-year-old Shardaye Gladney, another adult female, two juvenile females, and a juvenile male.

"During lawful search, inside the residence, officers located several clear plastic baggies containing a green leafy substance-marijuana that were in plain sight, several small pipe smoking devices commonly used to smoke marijuana, plastic baggies used for packaging illegal drugs, one large glass pipe bong used to smoke marijuana, digital scales, marijuana grinders and other drug paraphernalia," stated Sansom.

"Since drugs were being sold where children were present, Child Protective Services was called and responded to the location," stated Sansom. "They made disposition of the juveniles."

The total marijuana seizure weighed 159 grams, or 5.6 ounces. Subsequently, Jones and Gladney were charged with possession of marijuana greater than or equal to four ounces and less than five pounds. Both are being held on $25,000 bonds. Jones is additionally being held on Kaufman County Sheriff's warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to appear, and no drivers license.
