TERRELL, Texas — A Terrell man was indicted by a Kaufman County grand jury during their October 30, 2014, session related to a shooting incident in Terrell earlier this year.
TERRELL, Texas — A Terrell man was indicted by a Kaufman County grand jury during their October 30, 2014, session related to a shooting incident in Terrell earlier this year.
The man, 27-year-old Ontarius Morris, allegedly shot twice at an occupied vehicle in the area of Park Street in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 27, 2014. At least one of the bullets struck and shattered the rear window of the vehicle.
According to the Terrell Police Department, Morris and the victim knew each other prior to the shooting incident and may have been involved in an argument several months before the shooting.
Morris was arrested by the Terrell Police Department the next day and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held at the Kaufman County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
