TERRELL, Texas — A Terrell man wanted on a murder warrant in connection with the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Chad Jobe earlier this month has been arrested in Dallas, according to the Terrell Police Department.

TERRELL, Texas — A Terrell man wanted on a murder warrant in connection with the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Chad Jobe earlier this month has been arrested in Dallas, according to the Terrell Police Department.

Last night, Saturday, August 8, 2020, members of the Terrell Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division and the Texas Rangers located 38-year-old Michael Roy Sanders at an undisclosed location in Dallas and took him into custody, without incident, on the murder warrant.

On Saturday, August 1, 2020, the Terrell Police Determent responded to the 300 block of West Newton Street for a reported shooting. There, they discovered Jobe suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Jobe was airlifted to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, in critical condition. Two days later, on Monday, August 3, 2020, the Terrell Police Department was notified that Jobe had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

"The Terrell Police Department would like to thank any and all who were involved in bringing Sanders to justice," the department stated in announcing Sanders arrest.

Sanders is being held in the Kaufman County Jail on the murder charge. Bond information was not available as of press time.
