TERRELL, Texas — A suspect wanted in an aggravated robbery of a convenience store he may have frequented has turned himself into the Terrell Police Department, according to Terrell Police Department Chief Jody Lay.
Lay says the man, identified as 37-year-old Detion Henderson of Dallas, Texas, and has family in Terrell, walked into the police department lobby at approximately 5:54 a.m. today and turned himself in for an aggravated robbery which occurred last week.
“Police recognized him as the same person captured in the surveillance video taken during the robbery,” stated Lay. “He was taken into custody without incident.”
“This is the only robbery the suspect is believed to have committed, but police are also investigating several misdemeanor crimes he is suspected of committing,” stated Lay.
Henderson is accused of robbing the Four Boys Country Store at gunpoint on Friday, November 4, 2016. Police released Henderson's photo yesterday in a press release.
“The robbery of the Four Boys Country Store is cleared by this arrest,” stated Lay.
