Terrell PD: Four arrested on narcotics charges after search warrant served

TERRELL, Texas – The Terrell Police Department arrested four individuals on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, after executing a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Gordon Drive in Terrell, Texas.

According to a press release from the Terrell Police Department, 19-year old Cortney Hubbard, 20-year-old Kierial Edwards, 18-year-old Christopher Trae Hubbard, and 21-year-old Tavian Henderson were arrested and each charged with possession of marijuana less than two ounces in a drug free zone.

Officers from the Terrell Police Department's Narcotics Unit and SWAT team served the search warrant at the home and seized the narcotics, guns, and cash. Seized were 7.3 grams of marijuana on the two females, 34.3 grams of marijuana on the two males, two Xanax Alprazolam pills, drug paraphernalia, an Uberti .357 mag lever action rifle, a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun, a Savage .22 mag rifle, a Taurus .45-caliber pistol, $200 cash, and several different live ammunition rounds.

All four were booked into the Kaufman County Jail this morning around 11 a.m. after being held overnight at the Terrell Police Department.

In March, the Terrell Police Department served a search warrant in the 400 block of South Park Street and arrested four individuals, one of which was a juvenile, on narcotics charges. Authorities seized approximately 70.99 grams of marijuana and 1.5 grams of crack cocaine in that search.
