TERRELL, Texas β The Terrell Police Department is investigating a robbery which occurred Wednesday morning at a business in the 300 block of Ninth Street.
The Terrell Police Department was dispatched to the robbery at 6:24 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, according to Terrell Police Department Captain A.D. Sansom.
A man entered the business wearing all black with a black mask, possibly a toboggan with the eyes cut out, covering his face and demanded cash from the female clerk, Sansom stated.
Fearing for her safety, the clerk complied with the manβs demands giving an undetermined amount of cash from the drawer and another area of the store before the man fled out the back door of the business.
Sansom says the man pulled the female clerks hair and pulled her to the back of the store to allow his exit through the back door.
The suspect is described by the clerk as a Hispanic male, approximately 5β7β to 5β10β, with a slender build.
"The suspect did not display a weapon and the employee suffered no serious injury," stated Sansom.
The alleged suspect remains at large and the Terrell Police Department is continuing its investigation.
