Terrell search warrant yields arrests, drug seizures

TERRELL, Texas β€” The Terrell Police Department Narcotics Unit and SWAT team executed a search warrant last week, yielding six arrests and drug and money seizures.

TERRELL, Texas β€” The Terrell Police Department Narcotics Unit and SWAT team executed a search warrant last week, yielding six arrests and drug and money seizures.

On Friday, February 6, 2015, at 8:24 p.m., police executed the search warrant at 410 Mineral Wells Street in Terrell, Texas.

Arrested were 29-year-old Quincy Kennard George, 56-year-old John Edward Jackson, 49-year-old Tracy Bernard Brumsey, 49-year-old Katherine Earline Turner, 49-year-old Tomical Kenshae Martin, all of Terrell, Texas, and 50-year-old Mary Jane Ross of Kaufman, Texas.

Officers located two off-white colored rocks of suspected crack cocaine on the kitchen floor and other drug paraphernalia including digital scales with drug residue. In total, officers seized 5.6 grams of suspected crack cocaine and $343 believed to be proceeds from the sale of illegal narcotics.

George was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, greater or equal to four grams but less than 200 grams. George was also charged with evading arrest or detention for fleeing from police upon their arrival.

The other individuals were each charged with possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than one gram.
