TERRELL, Texas โ€” A Terrell woman has been indicted one a charge of accident involving death in connection with a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash in March.

TERRELL, Texas โ€” A Terrell woman has been indicted one a charge of accident involving death in connection with a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash in March.

The crash resulted in the death of 59-year-old Gennie Valenda Madden of Terrell, Texas.

Police say 31-year-old Dolores Fuentes admitted to striking the victim on U.S. Highway 80 and leaving the scene.

The Terrell Police Department put out a be-on-the-lookout notification for a dark blue Lincoln MKX with front-end damage and were tipped off to a vehicle matching that description which was found to be parked in Fuentesโ€™ garage.

Fuentes was arrested and later released on a $75,000 bond for accident involving death.

In May, Fuentes was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, open alcohol container and driving while license invalid.

A month later, in June, Fuentes was one of two people arrested following the execution of a narcotics warrant in the 300 block of North Dellis Street in Terrell, Texas. She was charged with two counts of manufacture of deliver of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 less than one gram and possession of marijuana less than two ounces.

In 2010, Fuentes was found guilty of driving while intoxicated and sentenced to 18 months probation by then-Kaufman County Court at Law Judge Erleigh Wiley, according to court records.

Fuentes currently has two pending cases in the Kaufman County Court at Law 2 โ€” driving while intoxicated 2nd and possession of marijuana less than two ounces.
