Three arrested, charged in Crandall burglary of a habitation

CRANDALL, Texas β€” Three people were arrested after a burglary of a habitation in Crandall on Monday, January 18, 2016.

CRANDALL, Texas β€” Three people were arrested after a burglary of a habitation in Crandall on Monday, January 18, 2016.

The burglary occurred at a home in the 200 block of South 6th Street between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. while nobody was home, according to Crandall Police Department Chief Billy Kilgore.

Kilgore says one person was arrested that same night in connection with the burglary and all the stolen property was recovered. Through further investigation, Kilgore says two more suspects were arrested on Friday, January 22, 2016.

Arrested were Marshall Good, Raymond Chapman, and Steven Morris. Good was charged with burglary of a habitation and is being held at the Kaufman County Jail on a $25,000 bond. Morris has been charged with burglary of a habitation and is awaiting arraignment. Chapman has not yet been booked but is facing a similar charge for burglary of a habitation.
