TERRELL, Texas — Police say a crime stoppers tip led to the arrest of three of four suspects wanted in an armed robbery of a convenience store in Terrell earlier this month. Police are seeking the whereabouts of the fourth suspect.
TERRELL, Texas — Police say a crime stoppers tip led to the arrest of three of four suspects wanted in an armed robbery of a convenience store in Terrell earlier this month. Police are seeking the whereabouts of the fourth suspect.
On Thursday, March 2, 2017, at approximately 8:42 p.m., the Terrell Police Department was dispatched to 333 Beer, Wine & Grocery store in the 1700 block of North Frances after the female clerk reported an armed robbery.
Four black males reportedly entered the store with one standing watch at the door. One of the alleged suspects was armed with a handgun, placed it to the clerk’s head, and ordered her to open the safe.
The men fled the store with approximately $200 cash. There were no injuries reported during the robbery.
“Detectives with the Terrell Police Department, working from a tip from Kaufman County Crime Stoppers, identified the four suspects,” Terrell Police Department Captain A.D. Sansom stated.
Two of the suspects are juveniles and have been arrested. A third suspect, 20-year-old Devarrion Taylor of Terrell, Texas, has also been arrested.
Police are still seeking the whereabouts of 17-year-old Ja’Darien Daniels of Terrell, Texas.
They are each charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony.
