FORNEY, Texas — Three men were arrested this week and charged in connection with a Forney-area homicide investigation, according to Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office Captain Fred Klingelberger.

Klingelberger says 18-year-old Henre Davis of Dallas, Texas, 18-year-old Deion Young, and 24-year-old Jarvis Kimble have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of George Moss, who was found deceased on his front porch on November 28, 2015, having suffered a gunshot wound to the back of his head.

On the day of the homicide, investigators said there were signs of forced entry into the home but had not released any information on whether the home was burglarized or not. Investigators believed the incident, later ruled a homicide by the Dallas County Medical Examiners Office, was an isolated incident.

Davis was arrested on Tuesday morning and booked into the Dallas County Jail on a capital murder charge and is being held on a $1.5 million bond. Kimble was arrested by the Dallas Police Department on Tuesday afternoon and was charged with capital murder on a $1.5 million bond, burglary of a habitation with a $100,000 bond, and evading arrest or detention with a vehicle on a $100,000 bond. Young was arrested on Wednesday and is also facing a capital murder charge, according to Klingelberger.

Tuesday night, Klingelberger said the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the case.

This is a developing story. Updates will be posted here as they become available.
