TERRELL, Texas — Two people were arrested following the execution of a narcotics search warrant at a home in Terrell, Texas, on Wednesday morning.

TERRELL, Texas — Two people were arrested following the execution of a narcotics search warrant at a home in Terrell, Texas, on Wednesday morning.

At approximately 6 a.m., on Wednesday, members of the Terrell Police Department SWAT Team, Forney Police Department SWAT Team, and Terrell Police Department narcotics investigators executed the search warrant at 610 South Frances Street in Terrell, according to Terrell Police Department Corporal R. W. Lavin.

Arrested were 51-year-old Darron Lashawn Collier and 39-year-old Fanta Kinte Jones.

Narcotics investigators located 271 grams, approximately 9.5 ounces, of marijuana and just under five grams of powder cocaine in the residence, according to Lavin.

Investigators also seized $3,000 in currency and three vehicles from the residence which are believed to be proceeds of illegal drug transactions, stated Lavin.

Jones and Collier were charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance, a first-degree felony, and possession of marijuana, a state-jail felony, according to Lavin.
