MESQUITE, Texas — Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a string of Whataburger and Jack in the Box robberies across North Texas — including two in Forney and Terrell.
The Mesquite Police Department announced the arrest of 21-year-old Eraycio Clark of Dallas, Texas, and 20-year-old Deyundre Ghoston of Mesquite, Texas, in connection with the armed robberies.
The pair currently faces three counts of aggravated robbery, according to Mesquite Police Department spokesperson Lt. Brian Parrish.
Parrish says investigators attribute 19 robberies in 15 Dallas-area cities since December 28, 2017, to Clark and Ghoston.
"Additional charges of aggravated robbery are expected to be filed by other law enforcement agencies in the coming days," he said.
On January 1, 2018, the pair is suspected of robbing the Whatburger location in Terrell, Texas. Two suspects entered the restaurant and ordered all the customers to the ground while they ordered an employee to open the cash register and a manager to the back office where more cash was stolen.
The next morning, two suspects robbed the Whataburger location in Forney, Texas.
