Two arrested in Forney traffic stop after KCSO narcotics investigation

Kaufman County Sheriff's narcotics investigators arrested two drug suspects in Forney on February 11, 2013, at approximately 4 p.m. The bust took place after investigators followed and then pulled the pair over at an undisclosed location in Forney.

Kaufman County Sheriff's narcotics investigators arrested two drug suspects in Forney on February 11, 2013, at approximately 4 p.m. The bust took place after investigators followed and then pulled the pair over at an undisclosed location in Forney.

Investigators found 35 grams of methamphetamines in the vehicle and arrested Russell Lewis Watson Jr., 28, of Gun Barrel City. Also arrested was Susan Marie Salmon, 35 of Terrell. As it turned out, Russell Watson had three outstanding warrants from the Seagoville Police Department, one warrant out of Ellis County, and five warrants for his arrest from the Seven Point Police Department.

In addition to his warrants, Watson was charged with a felony for Manufacture/Delivery of a controlled substance over one gram but less than 200 grams. He was taken into custody and transported to the Kaufman County Enforcement Center where he is being held on a bond set at $503,092.00.

During the narcotics investigation it was discovered that suspect Susan Salmon had recently been arrested and charged with identity theft from a case that occurred in December of 2012. She had just been released from the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center before being busted as part of this investigation.

She was transported back to KCLE and charged with a felony for Manufacture/Delivery of a controlled substance of over one gram but less than 200 grams. Her bond was set at $200,000.00.
