FORNEY, Texas — Two juveniles were arrested after an overnight pursuit involving a stolen vehicle, according to the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office.

FORNEY, Texas — Two juveniles were arrested after an overnight pursuit involving a stolen vehicle, according to the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office.

The Kaufman County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Hockley Drive in the Travis Ranch community in unincorporated northwestern Kaufman County.

There, Kaufman County Sheriff's Office deputies located a pickup truck matching the description of one that had been reported stolen earlier in the evening.

"Deputies attempted to stop the truck, but the driver made an attempt to evade deputies," stated the sheriff's office. "After a lengthy pursuit and with the assistance of DPS Helicopter, the driver and passenger were located in a nearby neighborhood."

The driver and passenger were both juveniles therefore, their names were not released.

"We are grateful no one was injured in the pursuit and the owner of the truck was able to get his property back," stated the sheriff's office. "Hats off to our deputies for a job well done!"
