FORNEY, Texas — Two juveniles were arrested this past week in separate Forney-area aggravated robbery incidents involving firearms, according to police.
The first aggravated robbery was reported around 6:25 p.m. on November 11, 2019, in the 2100 block of Fresia Lane in the Windmill Farms neighborhood.
A firearm was reportedly discharged during the robbery which was supposed to be a meetup for an online sales transaction.
A 16-year-old male juvenile was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery in this incident.
The second aggravated robbery occurred on Friday, November 15, 2019, at approximately 7:02 p.m., in the 3000 block of Clear Springs Drive, which is also located in Windmill Farms.
A male juvenile was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
Kaufman County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Jolie Stewart says both offenses were separate, unrelated aggravated robberies.
Both juveniles, who were not identified because of their age, were students at North Forney High School.
