Two men sought in Mesquite home invasion aggravated robbery

MESQUITE, Texas — The Mesquite Police Department is seeking two men in a home invasion aggravated robbery of a 71-year-old woman.

MESQUITE, Texas — The Mesquite Police Department is seeking two men in a home invasion aggravated robbery of a 71-year-old woman.

The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m., on December 15, 2015, in the 500 block of Freeman Street, according to a Mesquite Police Department press release.

Two men entered the residence, produced handguns, and restrained the 71-year-old female homeowner with duct tape.

“The two men held her at gunpoint and demanded money,” stated Mesquite Police Department Lt. Brian Parrish.

One of the men took the woman’s credit card and unsuccessfully attempted to withdraw money from a Bank of America ATM at Lake June Road and Buckner Boulevard.

“The suspects then released the victim and demanded she go to the bank and withdraw money from her account,” stated Parrish. “The suspects threatened they were going to follow and watch her.”

Once at the bank, the woman notified the teller of the situation.

Both men are described as Hispanic males between 20 and 25 years old. One was described as approximately 6-foot tall and 200 pounds with a mustache which was sloppy on the left side. The other, pictured above, was described as approximately 5-foot, 10-inches and 170 pounds with a thin mustache and a diamond stud in his left ear.
