FORNEY, Texas — Two vehicles were reportedly stolen overnight in the Forney area.
One of the incidents was captured on a neighbor's video surveillance system in the area of Wedgewood Drive and Knoxbridge Road in the Devonshire neighborhood north of Forney. Around 2:47 a.m., video surveillance captured several individuals approach the victim's vehicle, a Dodge pickup truck, and speed away moments later.
The truck was a project vehicle for the victim's 16 year old daughter whose birthday was approaching on July 28.
Details on a second vehicle reportedly stolen from the same neighborhood last night were not immediately available.
According to a Facebook post, the individuals may have entered the neighborhood in a white or light-colored Crown Victoria.
