TERRELL, Texas — The U.S. Marshals are searching for 25-year-old Rene Adrian Carrillo after he cut his ankle monitor and went on the run just before the last day of his murder trial in Dallas County.Law enforcement officials say Carrillo's last known location was in the Terrell, Texas, area.Carrillo allegedly cut his ankle monitor on Wednesday night after his third day of trial in Dallas County and failed to appear in court on Thursday, June 25, 2019.The trial continued despite Carrillo's absence and he found guilty of murder and sentenced to 99 years in prison for the 2017 fatal shooting of Jean Carlo Casiano-Torres outside of a Dallas strip club.Authorities say Carrillo will face additional charges for fleeing and jumping bail.
