SEAGOVILLE, Texas — The United States Marshals Service and the Federal Bureau of Prisons are seeking an inmate who escaped from a minimum-security satellite camp at the Federal Correctional Institute in Seagoville, Texas, on Monday.

SEAGOVILLE, Texas — The United States Marshals Service and the Federal Bureau of Prisons are seeking an inmate who escaped from a minimum-security satellite camp at the Federal Correctional Institute in Seagoville, Texas, on Monday.

Around 7:30 p.m., on Monday, August 31, 2020, federal authorities discovered 43-year-old Anthony Wayne Lightfoot missing from the satellite camp.

Lightfoot, according to authorities, was serving a 286 month sentence for possession intent to distribute a controlled substance and was scheduled for release on July 24, 2024.

He is described by police as being a Black male, approximately 6", 227 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes.

The satellite camp is a minimum-security facility adjacent the low-security federal correctional institution and houses approximately 108 inmates, as compared to 1,744 at the low-security facility.
