FORNEY, Texas β€” A Dallas man was arrested after leading police on a high-speed motorcycle pursuit early Sunday morning.

FORNEY, Texas β€” A Dallas man was arrested after leading police on a high-speed motorcycle pursuit early Sunday morning.

Just before 1 a.m., the Forney Police Department reported a motorcycle was fleeing from an officer on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.

The Terrell Police Department and a Texas Department of Public Safety helicopter were requested for assistance as the pursuit continued eastbound on Spur 557. The chase came back westbound and through portions of Windmill Farms before the man reportedly stalled the motorcycle while making a turn in the area of Reeder Road and Reeder Lane.

Jail records identify the man as Leo Rachal of Dallas, Texas. Rachal was released on a $5,000 bond on Monday.
