TERRELL, Texas — The Terrell Police Department is seeking informant in an ATM theft from a Terrell gas station last month.
According to Terrell Police Department Captain Ken McKeown, the burglary occurred on February 27, 2016, at approximately 3:30 a.m. at I20 Exxon located at 311 East Interstate Highway 20 in Terrell.
Police received a 911 call just before 5 a.m. by the store’s owner. Officers arrived and found the glass of the front door broken and an ATM located inside the store had been stolen.
The suspects were seen on video, seen below, entering the store, connecting a chain around the ATM, and pulling it from its concrete foundation. All three suspects then helped load the ATM into the back of the truck.
“In-store video showed what appear to be three males arrive in a dark colored Dodge Ram Pickup with a silver stripe across the bottom,” stated McKeown.
“Two males enter the store by breaking the glass. Suspect 1 was thinner than suspect 2, and wore a Halloween mask, gloves, black hooded sweat shirt, light pants, and dark shoes,” stated McKeown. “Suspect 2 was larger and wore a jacket with a hood with a bandana over his face.”
“Suspect 3 never entered the store but operated the vehicle,” according to McKeown. “Suspect 3 was the thinnest and wore a hooded jacket, black pants and white shoes.”
The truck was seen fleeing the scene westbound on the I-20 service road.
