KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A Warrant Round-Up is currently underway in Kaufman County and authorities are encouraging individuals with outstanding warrants to resolve them expeditiously or face arrest.
Notices were previously mailed to all Kaufman County Justice of the Peace defendants with active warrants.
If you believe you have an active warrant or unpaid traffic tickets, you should contact your respective Justice of the Peace court immediately.
Precinct 2 is offering Pro Se Walk-in court dates on October 10, November 7, and December 10. Walk-ins are required to sign in between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. and return by 10 a.m. for court. Precinct 1 and Precinct 3 also offer walk-ins; those walking-in with these courts should call beforehand for scheduling and docket information. Those in Precinct 4 will need to contact the court to schedule a court date.
Indigent defendants may also contact their respective precinct court for alternative options for resolution of their cases.
