FORNEY, Texas — An alleged burglary suspect was apprehended early Thursday morning and police are asking anyone who may have fallen victim to contact the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office.
FORNEY, Texas — An alleged burglary suspect was apprehended early Thursday morning and police are asking anyone who may have fallen victim to contact the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office.
Police were notified of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Cumberland Drive and Manassas Drive in the early morning hours on Thursday which led to the discovery of several vehicle burglaries.
After a search of the area on Thursday morning, police located and apprehended the man, identified as 35-year-old Christopher West.
The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the burglaries and encourages anyone who suspects their vehicle or home to have been burglarized to contact their office at (972) 376-4500.
West was charged with burglary of vehicles with two or more previous convictions. He is being held in the Kaufman County Jail on bonds totaling $100,000.
