Forney Police Department Conducts Major Drug Bust in Gateway Addition
FORNEY, Texas — On December 10, 2025, a coordinated operation involving the Forney Police Department’s Narcotics Section, the Kaufman County Street Crimes Unit, and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) led to significant developments in the ongoing fight against drug-related crime in Forney.
Operation Details
Following a lengthy investigation into narcotics activity, officers executed a search and arrest warrant in the 1800 block of Purtis Creek Drive, located within the Gateway Addition neighborhood. The operation, which unfolded early in the morning, aimed to disrupt illicit drug activities that have been a concern for local residents.
Seizures and Arrests
During the operation, law enforcement officials seized multiple firearms and a variety of narcotics. Preliminary reports indicate that the substances included fentanyl, THC wax, ecstasy, and marijuana. As a result of the operation, five individuals were arrested, and their connections to the ongoing investigation are currently under scrutiny. The Forney Police Department has indicated that additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation progresses.
