COMBINE, Texas — A man who led police on a high-speed chase in the Combine area surrendered when confronted by a police K-9.
On Wednesday night, Precinct 4 Deputy Constable G. Cousins attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle when if fled from him at a high rate of speed in the Combine area, according to Constable Chad Jones.
The suspect lost control of the vehicle, crashed, and fled on foot into a wooded area, stated Jones.
Cousins deployed his K-9 partner, Nemo, who tracked and confronted the suspect.
The suspect surrendered without further incident. He know faces various drug and weapons-related offenses.
