FORNEY, Texas — 30-year-old Chad Hill of Forney, Texas, who was arrested last month following two separate disturbances, has been indicted by a Kaufman County grand jury on charges for kidnapping and evading arrest.
FORNEY, Texas — 30-year-old Chad Hill of Forney, Texas, who was arrested last month following two separate disturbances, has been indicted by a Kaufman County grand jury on charges for kidnapping and evading arrest.
On Friday, June 23, 2017, Hill was involved in two separate disturbances. One of which he blocked a mother, her 13-year-old child, and her child’s friend from driving. He allegedly threatened gun and sexual violence before getting out of his vehicle and attempting to open the juvenile victim’s door.
Moments later, Hill was involved in another disturbance not far from the original. In it, police say Hill attempted to kidnap at 21-year-old woman before he was chased off by the victim’s mother.
Police were en route to the first call when the second came in and were able to located his vehicle nearby. Hill allegedly fled from police a short distance before coming to a stop and surrendering peacefully and without further incident.
The grand jury convened on July 24 before handing down the indictments for kidnapping and evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.
Hill was also charged by police with terroristic threat causing fear of imminent serious bodily injury at the time of the original offenses. Its unknown if the grand jury considered this charge or no billed.
Hill was released from the Kaufman County Jail on July 5, 2017, after posting $10,750 in bonds.
