TALTY, Texas — The Kaufman County Sheriff's Office is investigating two overnight armed robberies in the Talty area.
At approximately 9:39 p.m., on Thursday, two armed men entered the Shell gas station on Helms Trail and robbed the location, Kaufman County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Jolie Stewart told inForney.com.
Just after midnight, at approximately 12:09 a.m., on Friday, the same pair is suspected in robbing the Exxon gas station on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641.
In both incidents, cash was taken and no injuries were reported, according to Stewart. Surveillance video is expected to be released on Monday.
Both gas stations are located off Interstate 20 in the Talty area.

Over the past two years, the Shell gas station on Helms Trail has fallen victim to two attempted ATM thefts and sustained damage to its building.
