Kaufman County Sheriff's Office, FBI, Rangers, and ATF at Williams' home

KAUFMAN, Texas – Investigators with the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office, the Texas Rangers, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation were at the home of Eric Williams, the man accused in the murders of Kaufman County District Attorney Mark Hasse, District Attorney Mike McLelland, and his wife, Cynthia.

KAUFMAN, Texas – Investigators with the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office, the Texas Rangers, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation were at the home of Eric Williams, the man accused in the murders of Kaufman County District Attorney Mark Hasse, District Attorney Mike McLelland, and his wife, Cynthia.

Law enforcement officials arrived at the home at approximately 6 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2014. A command center, an evidence recovery vehicle, an FBI "evidence response team," and recovery dogs were at the scene this morning. The home was roped off with crime scene tape.

Investigators could be seen going in and out of the home and in the backyard with shovels and a pickaxe. Authorities were at the scene on follow up investigation with consent from the state, according to Kaufman County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Fred Klingelberger.

A hearing for Eric Williams is scheduled for tomorrow morning in Rockwall County. Special prosecutor Bill Wirskye was at Williams' home with investigators this morning.
