KAUFMAN, Texas — A Kaufman Independent School District student was arrested yesterday on a charge for terroristic threat.
According to jail records, 18-year-old Garrett Dean Martin was arrested by the Kaufman ISD Police Department and charged with terroristic threat. He is being held at the Kaufman County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
"Kaufman ISD is determined to provide a safe learning environment for our students and will continue to turn any threats to student safety over to law enforcement," stated Kaufman ISD Loraine Blaylock in response to a request from inForney.com.
Specifics on the threat were not immediately available.
In separate incidents this month, students in Crandall and Forney were also arrested on charges for terroristic threat.
